LIFE is Short, LIVE it Big!
We often hear the phrase "Life is short," but how often do we truly internalize its meaning? Life, with all its uncertainties, is a fleeting gift. Recognizing this brevity can be the catalyst for profound change, urging us to seize each day and live it to the fullest. I remember a time when I was working a job that left me feeling empty. I kept telling myself, "I'll pursue my passions later, when I have more time/money/security." I kept telling myself, “It’s just a job, I’m g

The Great Alaskan Adventure Mystery!
We had ourselves a mystery on our trip. We were at a Yukon Territory Provincial Campground (like a state campground in the U.S.) Lots of people, BEAUTIFUL campground (see the pic)! We actually ran into a couple who happen to be on the same trek we are and stayed in the same campgrounds together a couple of nights before We stayed 1 night and woke up in the morning to our Starlink/internet not working. Weird. Can’t say enough about how amazing Starlink is- for another blog.

Values vs. Wants: The Tug-of-War Between What Matters and What's Shiny
Ever found yourself staring longingly at a luxury car, the sleek curves whispering sweet nothings to your soul, only to have a little voice in your head say, "But… freedom matters more to me than car payments?" Welcome to the eternal clash between Values and Wants. Values are like the foundation of your dream home—solid, essential, and non-negotiable. They define who you are and how you navigate the world. Wants? They’re the fancy throw pillows and mood lighting. Nice to have

Listening to the Right Noise
I was in Starbucks the other day and it dawned on me… there was alot of noise. I mean - ALOT of noise. The noise wasn’t necessarily ‘all bad’! There were great, intense conversations going on, a bunch of kids animated talking to each other, someone listening to music (not on their earbuds so we all got to listen), the regular music playing in the background, people shouting out orders, and you get the picture. I started thinking, I listen to alot of noise during the day as we

Why Clarity is Everything: The Missing Ingredient to Manifesting Your Desires
Have you ever felt like you're running on a treadmill in life, exerting a ton of effort but not really going anywhere? Maybe you've set intentions, followed the Law of Attraction, or read countless self-help books, but still, you’re left wondering, “ Why isn’t this working? Why am I not getting what I want?” The answer is simple yet profound: you can’t get what you want if you’re not clear on what that actually is. In my work with Huna, NLP, and integrative psychology, I’ve s

The Four R's of Goal Setting
It’s that time of year again! Time to set our goals for 2025. Not sure about you, sometimes I go into this time of year full-force, like a Star Trek ship hitting warp speed about to explore strange, new worlds (that’s for all my nerdy friends out there). Other times, I come into this time and would like to do ANYTHING than set new goals for the coming year. Seriously, anything - including waiting in line at the DMV. Why is that? Why is it sometimes I’ve set my next yrs goals

Slowing Things Down Before the Holidays
It’s that time year where I start frantically making plans for the holidays. I’m the planner in the family and the minute I feel it in the air I need to start. I know, I know. Holidays! Really?! And, Costco has their Halloween AND Christmas decorations out. It's confusing and it triggered my familiar holiday planning craziness. Reviewing my options I started checking out flights for a possible holiday visit to: my brothers, or mother-in-law, or possibly them to my house. And
